Checked shirt and vest: autumn looks

When the first cold morning comes, we take the check out of the closet. A checked shirt, a vest, a skirt in the same tone: this is the warm base of our autumn wardrobe, and it can be assembled with different degrees of strictness. Below are four pieces that we make and what we wear each with.

• Checked flannel shirt — soft fabric that keeps body heat and does not itch; brown and blue, one size

The first cold morning

The flannel shirt is a soft layer that keeps the warmth but does not itch. We put it over a T-shirt or a thin turtleneck and throw a scarf over the shoulders. On top, a light jacket is enough; below, jeans or straight trousers such as the straight-cut trousers. It comes in one size for everyone, so size is no question.

A Saturday market, a vest

The Old Money checked vest works in tandem with a light shirt: a white shirt, brown check, jeans or narrow trousers, loafers. Of the bags, a leather one in cappuccino. The vest keeps the torso warm and leaves the arms free, which is convenient when you choose pumpkins and apples.

#lifehack: do not mix check with stripe: if the shirt is checked, take a plain vest or the same check in a different scale.

Flannel and a skirt

We recommend the flannel shirt with our checked flannel mini skirt: layer on layer, fabric to fabric. Opaque tights, ankle boots or loafers. For a longer option we take the checked maxi skirt.

Eco-suede, an evening

The eco-suede shirt, 78 cm long in size XS-S, has an oversize cut: put it over a T-shirt or narrow trousers. In five colors, turquoise, brown, green, black and beige, it is an effortless evening, when there is no mood to put together a complicated look.
